서울 구로구 개봉동에 위치한 개봉중앙시장은 1976년 시장 부지로 구획되어 조성되었다. 1980년대 후반에서 1990년대 초까지 전성기를 누렸다. 주로 생활용품과 잡화 등을 판매하고 있다. 개봉중앙시장에서 매년 맥주 축제를 열고 있으며, 이외에도 설맞이 경품행사 등 다양한 이벤트를 진행하고 있다.
