서울억새축제
서울억새축제가 열리는 하늘공원은 과거 서울시 쓰레기 매립장이자 각종 쓰레기가 매립되어 만들어진 해발 98m의 인공 쓰레기 산으로, ’02년 FIFA 한·일월드컵' 개최에 맞춰 생태공원화하였다. 특히 하늘공원은 매립지의 척박한 환경이 자연으로 복원되어지는 변화를 표현하고자 '억새'를 심어 현재는 도심 속 광활한 억새밭에서 매년 10월 서울억새축제가 개최된다.
